The victory of Ukraine is the most important factor to bring back peace to Europe.

Andrius Kubilius, the Prime Minister of Lithuania in 1999-2000 and 2008-12, Member of the European Parliament stated this in his video address to the participants of the 15th annual Kyiv Security Forum, founded by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk “Open Ukraine” Foundation.

“Ukraine’s victory is the most important factor for the future of our continent and the return of stable and sustainable peace to the European continent. This can only be achieved through the victory of Ukraine,” he emphasized.

“This can only be attained when Ukraine leaves the gray area, only in case Ukraine is invited to the NATO membership at the Vilnius summit. And when Ukraine becomes a truly successful country fully integrated into the EU,” Andrius Kubilius added.

He also believes that this will bring many changes, in particular, possible transformations in Russia.

“Ukrainian victory in the war that authoritarian Russia unleashed is a strategic issue that can overhaul the entire security architecture in the Eastern part of the European continent and the whole of Europe,” Andrius Kubilius summarized.

The Kyiv Security Forum, founded by Arseniy Yatsenyuk’s “Open Ukraine” Foundation, is the main platform in our country to discuss issues of war and peace, national and global security.
