French President Emmanuel Macron is personally engaged in shaping up a conference on assistance to Ukraine, will soon be held in Paris.

This was stated by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine, Etienne de Ponsin, at the Kyiv Security Forum, founded by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Foundation “Open Ukraine’.

“Today, Ukraine is suffering from russian strikes on critical infrastructure, and this is a war crime,” he said.

Etienne de Ponsin noted that a conference will be held in Paris on December 13, to help Ukraine counteract air strikes by Russia and brace up to their consequences.

“Our president works day in and day out and is personally engaged in preparing this conference,” said the Ambassador of the French Republic.

He flagged 5 priorities at the upcoming conference: electricity, water quality, health care, transport infrastructure, and economy.

“We have to create a coordination mechanism, a kind of energy Ramstein,” said Etienne de Ponsin.
