Lukashenko continues his attempts to engage the Belarusians into war against Urkaine, but the people oppose this, - Svitlana Tikhanovska

Bilarusian dictator Olexander Lukashenko takes part in the war against Ukraine together with putin, as free Ukraine is the threat to their regimes’ existence. 

This was stated by the President of the Coordination Council of Belarus Svitlana Tikhanovska in her video address during the Kyiv Security Forum, founded by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Foundation “Open Ukraine”. 

“Lukashenko became putin’s accomplice from the very start of aggression on February 24. He betrayed the Ukrainians and he betrayed the Belarusian people, as he invited the occupants to our home”, - she stressed.  

“For nine months already our country’s territory, its civil and military infrastructure serve the criminal imperial ambitions of Russia”, - said Tikhanovska and added that without the Lukashenko’s decision to offer the Belarusian territory to the Russian army “this war would never start at all or would look totally different”.  

“It must be recognized that Lukashenko is the enemy of Ukrainian people and of Ukrainian state. It is impossible to let the criminal remain unseen any longer. He is the accomplice and co-participant in aggression and ought to bear liability for that”, - Svitlana Tikhanovska stressed. 

She also mentioned that the Belarusians understand what is going on in actual fact. 

“ Despite mass propaganda, 86% of Belarusians are against our Army’s participation in the Russian aggression. Despite the repressions level, unseen in Belarus since Stalin times, thousands of Belarusians risk their freedom to support Ukraine”, - Tikhanovska stressed. 

“The empire must be brough to ruins. We must demolish this prison together”, - concluded Svitlana Tikhanovska.
