No compromises with the aggressor are acceptable, - Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council

Ukraine will not accept any compromises with Russia, as this will only stretch the jeopardy for our country.

This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, during the Kyiv Security Forum, founded by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Foundation “Open Ukraine”.

“Any compromise on the path to victory mean only a delaying in time any future problems that may face Ukraine,” he said.

Danilov emphasized that it is a disgrace to encourage Ukraine to arrive at compromises with russia, with the latter committing atrocities against the Ukrainian people.

"We must not talk about this. We should not be frightened by a nuclear war or anything else. Our country and our people have paid a great price for the freedom that we bear on our shoulders not only for ourselves, but also for the NATO countries that are bordering on us,” he said.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council noted that Russia is one of the few countries that still has colonies and annihilated a large number of nations.

“They are primitive barbarians. And when they tell us to sit down at the negotiation table with them and discuss something, I believe it to be unworthy of our people,” stressed Oleksiy Danilov.
