KSF Online Discussion: Ukraine and the United States: Plan for Strategic Partnership

The Kyiv Security Forum begins a new series of online discussions on the main problems and tasks of Ukraine's foreign policy, the fight against Russian aggression, national, regional and global security, and international relations.
Discussion on the priorities and prospects of the Ukrainian-American strategic partnership after the election of President of the United States Joseph Biden will be the first this year.
- How will the election of a new US President affect relations with Ukraine?
- Will the current government of Ukraine be able to become an adequate partner of the new American administration?
- What tasks should the new agenda of Ukraine and the United States contain?
- How will the United States act on Russia?
- How to act together against the aggression of the Kremlin and to restore our territorial integrity?
- What should be the new policy of the West towards our part of Europe?
- How will the new global security policy of the United States be formed?
These and other issues will be discussed by the participants of the discussion:

Ambassador John Herbst – The Director of the Eurasia Center of the Atlantic Council, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United States to Ukraine in 2003-06;
Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze – The Chairwoman of Ukraine’s Rada Committee on the EU integration, the Vice-Prime-Minister of Ukraine on the European and Euro-Atlantic integration in 2016-19, and the member of the “European Solidarity” political faction;
Elizaveta Yasko – Member of the Committee of the Ukrainian Parliament on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation, Head of the sub-committee on inter-parliamentary cooperation, bilateral and multilateral relationships;
Arseniy Yatsenyuk – The Chairman of the Kyiv Security Forum and the Prime Minister of Ukraine in 2014-16;
Danylo Lubkivsky – The Director of the Kyiv Security Forum, the Deputy Foreign Minister and the Diplomatic Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine in 2014-16.
