Yulia Tymoshenko: Without peaceful, free, integral Ukraine can not be peaceful and integral Europe

The integrity of Europe depends on the integrity of Ukraine, a leader of the Batkivschyna Party, Mrs. Yulia Tymoshenko, is convinced. She stated this during the 12th Kyiv Security Forum, organized by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation.

"Without peaceful, free, integral Ukraine cannot be peaceful and integrated Europe ... And it is unacceptable today to consider the issue of peace and integrity of the Ukrainian territories as a local conflict, or to be approached as a conflict that should be frozen in order to not to talk about it within the Munich Conference" the politician stressed.

Mrs. Tymoshenko had mentioned the need for fulfilment of obligations provided by countries which guaranteed Ukraine's security.

"The Ukrainian issue should be raised in the context of the world's aspirations for denuclearization. And then it would be properly resolved. If international obligations would not be fulfilled to Ukraine, and Ukraine will not gain peace, then other programs to reduce nuclear potential will be untenable. Because the guarantees given to Ukraine should be given to other states," she underlined.
