Call for participant`s applications to the 5th Youth Kyiv Security Forum

The Open Ukraine Foundation offers you to become a member of one of the largest youth forums in Ukraine - the 5th Youth Kyiv Security Forum. 

Youth Kyiv Security Forum is the platform for discussion of current issues of international relations and foreign policy of Ukraine by young leaders. 

For participation in the Forum, we invite leaders aged from 22 to 35 who:

  • have achieved a significant progress in education, politics, public sector, public activities and in the sphere of international relations;
  • have an active citizenship;
  • refer to matters of state, international relations, education, security;
  • have a good command of English;
  • are open to find new contents and decisions.

Participation in the Forum is free and on the competitive basis. Travel costs are covered by the participants, accommodation and meals covered by the organizers.

The announcement of the results is 23th January2017.

Working languages of the Forum are Ukrainian and English.

The Forum will be held on 09th – 10th February 2017.

NATO Information and Documentation Centre in Ukraine (NIDC) was established in May 1997, on the eve of signing the NATO-Ukraine Charter on a Distinctive Partnership, which serves as the founding document for the relationship between NATO and Ukraine. The NIDC is part of the NATO Public Diplomacy Division and was the first information office established by NATO in a Partner country. Friedrich Ebert Foundation is the oldest political foundation in Germany, that has a rich social-democratic tradition from the date of its founding in 1925. The Foundation was founded as a political testament of Friedrich Ebert, the first president of Germany who was democratically elected, and whose name the Foundation was called after.
