
Tetyana MAZUR
Executive Director of Amnesty International Ukraine Tetyana graduated from law department of Lviv National University by Ivan Franko, holds a Master Degree in Law. While studying at the University was active member and chair of the Law Students Union, youth NGO. From the third year in the university she was working in the NGO, executive partner of UNHCR, providing legal assistance to the refugees and asylum seekers. In 2001 joined Amnesty International in Ukraine, the Ukrainian branch of one of the largest international human rights organizations. In 2006 became board member of the organization, and since 2008 she obtains position of Executive Director of Amnesty International Ukraine. She always was interested in the NGO management and human rights, attended specialized training programs both in Ukraine and abroad. Gained experience and knowledge Tetyana has been successfully using at her work and also became a trainer on human rights with special focus on the international mechanisms of human rights protection, the rights of refugees and asylum seekers, women's rights, protection against torture and other ill-treatment, protection from discrimination. Tetyana likes traveling, meeting interesting people, and reading, actively involved in sports. Her motto: impossible is nothing.
