Mykhailo BASARAB

He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the Shevchenko National University (a diploma of a political scientist). The degree of the Ph.D. of political sciences was obtained at the Institute of Political and Ethnonational Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Since the beginning of 2000, he has been engaged in political consulting and communication strategies. Author of numerous publications. Regularly invited to the media to comment political processes and international relations.

He takes an active part in public discussion of bills on occupied territories. One of the initiators of the civil campaign "No - changes to the Constitution during a martial law!" (In the summer of 2015, on the eve of the adoption in the 1st reading of the constitutional amendments concerning the "special status of the Donbas", the relevant petition to the authorities was signed by dozens of well-known Ukrainians). One of the founders of the Civil Initiative "Close the Kremlin`s Bazoo" which opposes the hidden Russian media on the territory of Ukraine. Co-founder of the non-profit organization "Institute for Actual Research", which primarily deals with the public initiative "Protection of Migrant Workers".
