Ariel COHEN

Ariel Cohen, L.L.B., PhD, has a proven leadership record in foreign affairs, including senior management, research and analysis at the highest levels. He is a recognized authority in European, Ukrainian, Russian and Eurasian affairs, the Middle East, and international energy and security policy. Dr. Cohen serves as Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council. He is also the Director of The Center for Energy, Natural Resources and Geopolitics (CENRG) at the Institute for Analysis of Global Security (IAGS).

Dr. Cohen is the Founding Principal of International Market Analysis Ltd., a Washington, D.C.-based advisory specializing in strategic communications, the natural resources, political risk and public affairs. For 22 years Dr. Cohen served as Senior Research Fellow in Russian and Eurasian Studies and International Energy Policy at the Heritage Foundation. Native of Yalta, Dr. Cohen advised Ukrainian companies and political leaders, and appeared numerous times on Ukrainian TV. He is the author of seven books and monographs, over 30 book chapters, and over 1,000 articles in professional, trade, and general media.
