
Nicolae-Miroslav PETRETCHI
Nicolae-Miroslav PETRETCHI was born in the Ukrainian village Vyshnia Rivna, Maramures Region, and graduated from the Dragosh Vody colleage in Sighetu –Marmatiei. He also graduated from Cluj University with a degree in Economics as well as Law, with a major administrative law and civil servant status.
In 2006, together with Professor Ivan Ardelian, he established the Cluj department of the Union of Ukrainians in Romania.
From 2006-2011 he worked as deputy head of the Cluj department of the Union of Ukrainians of Romania. .
In 2009-2012 Mr. Petretchi worked as a counselor to a member of the Parliament of Romania, and head of the Union of Ukrainians in Romania, Stepan Buchuty. In 2011-2014 he was an economic adviser to the Union of Ukrainians in Romania and from 2013 to 2015 worked as the economic and financial director of the Union.
In 2016 Mr. Petretchi was elected to the Parliament of Romania.
