
Paula J. DOBRIANSKY
Paula J. Dobriansky is a foreign policy expert, specializing in national security affairs. She is a Senior Fellow at Harvard University's JFK Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and Chair of the National Board of Directors of the World Affairs Councils of America. Previously, she was Senior Vice President and Global Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs at Thomson Reuters. During this time, she was also the Distinguished National Security Chair at the U.S. Naval Academy.
She has served in key roles as a diplomat and policy maker in the administrations of five U.S. presidents. She served as Under Secretary of State for Democracy and Global Affairs from 2001-2009, making her the longest-serving undersecretary in the State Department’s history.
