Borys TARASIUK

Borys Tarasiuk graduated from Kyiv Taras Shevchenko University, Department of International Relations and International Law (1975). Since 1975 he worked at MFA of Ukrainain Soviet Socialist Republic and MFA of Ukraine. 1998-2000 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

In 2002 Mr. Tarasiuk was elected as member of Parliament of Ukraine from «Our Ukraine» party. In May 2003 he became a head of Narodnyi Rukh of Ukraine (People’s Movement of Ukraine), and he became again member of Parliament of Ukraine in 2006.

2005 – 2007 Mr. Tarasiuk is for the second time Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Mr. Tarasiuk was a Member of Parliament of Ukraine (2007-2012) and was also a head of Committee on European Integration. Since December 2012 he is member of Parliament of Ukraine from Batkivshchyna party and deputy head of party faction.
