Bogdan KLICH

Mr. Bogdan Klich is Senator since November 2011.

He was Minister of National Defense between 2007-2011.

Also he was Member of the European Parliament between 2004-2007. Mr. Klich is also member of the foreign affairs committee and chairman of the delegation for relations with Belarus and member of the Sejm (lower chamber of the Polish parliament) between 2001-2004.

Bogdan Klich was Deputy Minister of National Defense (1999-2000) responsible for Poland’s cooperation with NATO.

Also Mr. Klich is lecturer at the Department of European Studies of the Jagiellonian University since 2002, lecturer at the Cracow University of Economics since the academic year 2013/2014 and besides he is author of numerous publications concerning foreign policy and international security.

Mr. Klich is Founder of the Institute for Strategic Studies in Kraków (a think tank) and member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies. Besides Bogdan Klich is active in the democratic opposition movement in late 1970’s and 1980’s. and Member of regional and central authorities of the Civic Platform party.
