
Adrian SEVERIN
Mr. Adrian Severin is Member of the European Parliament since 2007 and of its Foreign Affairs and Constitutional Affairs Committees. Mr. Severin was elected in the Romanian Parliament from 1990 to 2007. He served as Deputy Prime Minister of Romania (1990-1991) in charge with post communist state’s reform, as Minister for Privatization and SMEs (1991-1992) and as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Romania (1996-1997). Mr. Severin was President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE and held high ranking positions in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. He was also Special Rapporteur of the UN for Belarus, Chair of the EP’s Delegation for Ukraine, EP Rapporteur for the Association Agreement with Russia, Member of the Convention for the Future of Europe. Mr. Severin served as President of the Court of Commercial Arbitration of Romania. He is member of the International Court of Arbitration attached to ICC (Paris) and of the American Arbitration Association.
